I got my Wood JKM today and I am working on merging it with my Kumar Gelbu special.
I only just noticed that they have the same pommel and they look like they were meant to be together when viewed from on top.

Have a look:
my new buddies

The JKM is a really great knife and is going to replace the standard by-knives that came with my GS.

Thanks again for the help and ideas.
I recommend you give this a try...

Awesome Danny...brings out the Kuhk lust for sure! :)

Impressive fighter... Built like a Rolls Royce, and performs like a Ferrari.... Dan :)

I'm happy that you're happy Danny. Those JKM-1's are stout little knives, hold an edge well, and won't run hide from hard work. That it's handle is a good match for your khukuri's handle is just an added bonus.

that is a can of grapefruit shochu.
it is like a very light beer with flavor added. Vewry popular here.
I think that one was called "super chu-hi"

Sure does!!!! I'm not into flavored beers much but I love almost anything with grapefruit in it.

I also love lemons and the other sour citrus as well and used to eat lemons by the basketful just like oranges.
Our daughter in Phoenix has a nice lemon tree with HUGE and Delicious Lemons and every year about this time she sends me a lot of them. But I've had to quit eating them like I used to.
I ate two last night and the citric acid burned my lips and tongue, something else that can't be enjoyed like it used to be dammit.:grumpy:
Thinking about trying some lomon marmalade. Never heard of it but if oranges can be marmaladed then I don't see any reason why lemons can't be.
Anyone happen to have a recipe?

To get back on topic I have a JKM that I put a single edge bevel on. Now you wanna talk Sharp!!!!:D
Makes for a good EDC!

Nice job, Danny! My JKM is now my favorite belt knife. I added a teardrop choil and a couple file grooves on the spine to better fit my hand. I'll post a pic once I get my system back on its feet.

pics I make training weapons out of kitchen cutting board plastic that are copies of my real weapons.

Yummy. Some relation to the Korean soju? Doesn't seem to be quite as potent, but sounds tasty. I'll have to try one next year.
