Whenever I have played with/used my JL Williams folders in front of my wife Cindy, she has always complained that she doesn't have one of her own. So, this year, I decided to surprise her with a special present. After a good amount of phone time, I managed to convince Lee to make her one, and he was kind enough to get it done in time for Christmas. Needless to say, she loves this one, as it turned out absolutely beautifully.

Cindy's present is a small folder, a one-of-a-kind mini version of Lee's standard unnamed wharncliffe model. Lee shortened the blade length to 2 3/4" and the overall length to 6 1/2", but he did it without slimming down the width dimensions. So, the result is a stubbier and "cuter" (in Cindy's words) version of the standard model.

Lee really went all-out to pretty this one up for Cindy. The CPM 154 blade is handrubbed to a fine satin finish. The Ti bolsters and custom pocket clip are finely satined as well. The Ti liners are polished on the inside, satined on the outside, and anodized a nice deep blue. Lee elected to go with a two-piece backspacer on this one, and it turned out beautifully as well. It is made of Ti that is polished on the inside, lightly stippled on the outside, and anodized that same deep blue throughout. The scales are presentation grade MOP. The action is very smooth, and the lock-up and blade centering are absolutely perfect.

I'd like to give special thanks to Lee for making such a great present for my wife possible. He really went above and beyond to take care of me, and I hugely appreciate it. Amazing work, Lee!

Very nice knife...diamonds could look no better(but I am a guy). The linerlock looks nice and thick. The whole package flows nicely.

That's one hell of a nice knife. All the materials, finishes, textures and details come together in a perfect package.

Lee,

That is a very knice knife:p, however, you could be in a lot of trouble:eek: if the knife bug really bites her...best of luck. Preston

I apologize for the delayed response. Lee actually doesn't have an operational website right now. It is under construction, but when it is back up, it will be www.jlwilliamsknives.com
