Kevin and CKCA Board,

I'd like to say congrats on a job well done at the Blade Show with your presentation. I would like to see you continue down the path you have started on. As a full time knife maker and a family depending on my knife career we need a collector organization directing collectors in a positive manner. That direction should be toward makers with sound business practices, future goals in the knife world, and quality performance, fit, and finish.

I wish this organization the best and hope that you can keep your eye on the big ball and not sweat the small stuff. You have quality individuals involved and have the potential to be a highly respected organization accomplishing powerful goals. I do not say these things to blow smoke and I'm sure I'll have my disagreements with you from time to time, just as I do the ABS or any other organization. However, the overall body of work is the main concern and to that end I wish you all success.

Well said Josh.
I too have allot at stake with this career I've chosen. Its very encouraging to see an organization form from collectors of high dedication to our craft. The board members are quality people and like minded so I can see a wonderful future for the CKCA. I applaude you gentlemen!

Yap, the CKCA board has really done a super job getting the organization started. Thanks.

A lot of guys deserve a good pat on the back, but one I really want to mention is Bob Starkey who has worked his tail off to make the web site and forum workable entities within a very short time span.

Thank you Josh and everyone.
We are up to 70+ members now and that exceeds my expectations for our first couple of weeks. I'm also thrilled by the enthusiasm of our members.
I really think we will really make a deference.
