Jody Samson - Boot Knife

The Samson Boot Knife is one of the knives I've always wanted to find, ever since I started collecting the PCC version many years ago. My good friend Pete only had 2 of these, of course, the bastid has all the cool stuff! I've drooled over them on more than one occasion and just hoped one day I could run across one at a knife show or something...needless to say I'm always looking.

As luck would have it, I stumbled across one a couple months ago, and I'm thrilled to have it in my permanent collection!

According to Pete, from another forum:

[Duane]: Glad you got enough time to get a picture of that guy. For those that don't know.., those hand-ground original boots Jody did predate Bali-Song, Inc. by over two years...., and were products of Samson Custom Knives....(1834 Burbank Blvd., right around the corner from John Nelson Cooper's Shop).

Jody thinks he made (8) of them TOTAL.., and since we've found (3) of them in 31 years, I figure if we keep looking we can have 'em ALL in roughly 42 more years.
