Jody Samson knife

I have a very handsome knife given to me by a dear friend. I have found (only by book and the lion head crest) that it may have been made by Jody Samson. Is there an accurate way to tell? Is there a way to contact Mr. Samson? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

he used to grind blades for balisong cutlery, which is now benchmade (same guys). thats where I would start.

From knives he went on to specialize in swords. I believe he is no longer in the business of making either.
