Jody Samson Sword: Need Info Please

I recently came into this Jody Samson sword. While I appreciate Jody's work in the knife world, I'm not a sword guy, and I would love your input on what I have here. Any information you can give me such as what type of sword it is, what you think it's history might be (apart from what I know about it below), how you would evaluate it, and what you think its value is, would be much appreciated. This sword was brought into a Reseda, CA pawn shop by an actor connected to the Conan movie. It was brought in with an ornate dagger such as those used in the movie. Both pieces were personal gifts from Jody Samson to the actor. The dagger sold for quite a bit of money. I am in the process of gathering information on this sword. I am not a sword guy, so pretty much all I can say about it is that it is supposedly a one-of-a-kind sword, it is sharp on both sides, the blade is unused and the pommel is in excellent condition. The pommel appears to made of brass and a hard wood like ironwood. It has Jody's stamp as well as his signature on the reverse, and his characteristic hollow grinds. Any information is appreciated. I'd say more. Jody Samson died recently (RIP) and since then his work has gone up in value. Look into www.albion-swords.com for good quality production swords to give you an idea on a baseline price.

Very sad indeed. The Atlantean and Zorro's sword were two of my favorite movie swords.

What you have might be one of the several swords that were used by Thulsa Doom's just after the opening sequence where Conan's village is raided. Just a possibility though.

It looks like a lot of his remaining pieces have been going for roughly $1200, or a couple of hundred dollars higher if they are longer pieces.
