Joe has been working on a 4" Bose Back Pocket style knife for me. Its not in my back pocket yet but Joe tells me its winging its way here now. Joe got some great stag for this one and has done a really great job for his proto Back Pocket.

These are a couple of pictures Joe was nice enough to send me - just to irritate and taunt me with while i am made to wait on the postman.

When i receive the knife, I will post a few additional pics.

For those of you who have not dealt with Joe, he is a terrific fellow and a great guy to deal with.

Hi ,Thanks for looking at my work, I tryed my first back pocket after Tony was kind enough to send me the pattern. I learned a few things ,especially putting thong holes tubes in , any way, I'm going to add every new knife I make to my still new web site, if you'd like to see it go to joeallenknives.com , oh P.S. Well i finally had time to take a few pictures and say a few words about Joe's proto type Back Pocket that he made for me.

I am most impressed with the knife. It is razor sharp, tight as a drum, the stag is absolutely fantastic and finished with real craftsmanship showing. And this is Joe's first time making this model. Joe has really captured the Back Pocket style and makes a rock solid quality knife. The knife is as good as it looks.

My only irritation about all of this is that i did not have the sense to have a secured place to get the 4 1/2" big brother to this guy. I will likely be behind several of you before i can get it.

Joe is doing some great work here and is a real gentleman to deal with.

Cant go wrong my friends.

I just placed an order with Joe, got on the list for a backpocket after seeing this one. Been thinking I wanted to have one of these built, and went for it. Great pics!
 
You will not be disappointed with Joe's work. Not only is he a pleasure to deal with, his work is second to none!
