Those look great, Todd! Thanks for showing them.

HI I just finnished this knife yesterday for A good Customer In Australia. I didn't know this thread was here until he told me, so maybe I can start showing some of my knives here also. This knife started out as a Case 6332 - 3 blade medium stockman, I changed it to what some call a Texas Jack, With a Clip an Sheepfoot or Wharnny looking blade. It has nice Amber jigged bone an a federal type shield. Bolsters are sanded to 6000 grit an inside is like a mirror looking at you. the blade steel is CPM-154 after all heat treating an cold treatment the final Rock well is around 59 -60. 3 flush opening positions on this one , not the case with the Case ,just open an close. Thanks for looking :pDSCN2672.jpgDSCN2681.jpgDSCN2686.jpgDSCN2695.jpgDSCN2690.jpg

Really like the color and the jigging of the bone on those last two! Great work, Joe!

Joe makes an outstanding knife and is a really nice guy to deal with too!

Here's a couple of pieces made by Joe a few years back which I have in my collection:

While I've never had the pleasure of meeting Joe face to face we've had a few lengthy phone conversations in years past and I must say that I was as impressed with the man as his work.

One of Joe's Wharncliffe Mini Trappers - it is one of my favourite knives. Can't say enough good things about Joe, top bloke and his handiwork is second to none for the price IMO.

Matt

Thanks Blues, Didn't know you had any of my knives, even the older ones. Thanks for posting an the kind words. Joe

My pleasure and no worries, Joe...I forget more and more stuff every day myself.

HI Everyone, Here's A Remington Style Bullet knife I made with Madrone Burl from Burl Source. The steel is CPM-154 an it was hard as a rock trying to hand sand it. The final temper-hardness was 59-60 when I last Rockwelled it on my tester. Pull is semi-light for those not wanting to take fingernails out. maybe 3 to 4 I'd say, good snap in all 3 flush positions, see it in the Mak:p
ers for sale section for further details. Thanks for Looking
