Joe Dewitt

I was gifted two of Joe DeWitt knives from my dad. While Ill never sell them (ever), I cannot find anything about their worth - for my spreadsheets. On the other hand, my dad has a few he's thinking about parting with.

Ive never seen one on BF and a search showed nothing. On Arizona customs I found 3 that have been sold. One in 2006, 2011 and in Dec. of 2022, for around $400-$500. Does anyone know of Joe's knife values? Are they typically around the $400/$500 mark or are they all over?


Side note, I spoke to his daughter a few weeks back. She is making a scrap book for her young son about Joe's knives as a family keepsake. I sent her the pictures of the two I have and she said she remembers working with her dad on the sheaths and embossing the leather at 13! Pretty incredible. If you have a DeWitt knife, message me please so I can send her pictures.
