I own the first the damascus knife knife that Joe Flournoy ever sold. It was made in Jerry Fisk's shop in the mid 90s. I have documetation from Joe to verify authinticity. Im asking this from "old time collerctors", I am moving out of knife collecting and looking at selling my collection. Does the fact that this was his first make it more valueable to forged blade collectors.

Well it sure won't hurt the value as an ABS forged collector will appreciate the historical significance; however I wouldn't expect to earn a windfall over the fact.
In other words, it may help it sell, however I would not expect to much extra $'s because of it.

What type/style knife is it?

Thanks Kevin. IM not looking for a windfall but if i do move the knife I would like for a forged knife collector to have it. The blade is a 5 inch skinner style blade with a nice wood handle which I think is walnut. It also has a pouch type sheath that I think Joe made as well. I also have a nice knife that Jerry Fisk made just prior to getting his JS stamp, it is not for sale however.

I clicked on your collecdtion link and I must say that your taste in music is as good good as your taste in knives'.
