Joe Houser 916

Super sweet mail call this morning from the Great Northwest. A 916 Big Bowie custom by the legend, Joe Houser.

I love the blade profile on 916s, but (as many have noted) their original handles seem a bit small. Joe’s fat stag handle just feels so much better. The handle has white turquoise spacers at each end and malachite spacers line the top and bottom. Joe’s Idaho Cross Logo is stamped on the front of the polished nickel/silver guard.
