He has gone the extra mile on my situation regarding a knife that he has been trying to get back to me,customs was holding it and has made this a long return.

Joe has worked VERY VERY hard folks to make sure i'm taken care of,and i ain't nobody special ,so its nice to know big companies still take care of the little guy, which Buck certainly does.

We talk about them making knives overseas, and the quality, but i figure if it still says buck on the blade, its good to go...many companies have gone under, like schrade, and buck i think has done what they had to in order to stay afloat .

Thanks a lot Joe,most knife companies don't even correspond with customers ,much less do what Joe has to get this taken care of.

I still say they should double whatever it is the pay the man!:D :D

Well I'm embarrassed as anything because...we STILL havent got the knife in your hands. It has been a circus dealing with customs and I don't know why. The last time I looked, the knife was actually being shipped back and forth between customs and Kentucky. It has made the trip to Canada at least 3 times. Looks like a ping pong ball now.
In the meantime, we shipped knife number three using a diferent means of shipping. Maybe threes a charm? Your patience has been phenominal through this ordeal!
So before you add me to your Christmas card list, lets make sure this story eventually has a happy ending. :o :o :o

Joe and Razorblades,
I don't think anyone ever will. I had family living up in British Columbia back in the 90's and customs was so bad with packages being delayed that I one Christmas I actually decided to drive three hours to go across the border so I could put the packages in the Canadian postal system and avoid it. I am not surprised at the problems but have no idea what it would take short of making Canada the 51st state to speed things up. :o

Things have gotten so much worse in the last couple of years since 9/11.

Employees everywhere who deal with security issues are swamped with work and dealing with ever-changing policies and rules and Customs is no exception.

Now.....on the brighter side, I want to say that MY knife (which only had to make it from MN to ID and back--no Customs) came back in about two weeks.

This was the 120BR with the misshapen pommel and it was fixed and back very quickly and I thank Joe for that.

Now I have two prime examples of the Idaho-stamped version and I am very happy that I do.

Thanks again to Joe and his crew of artists.

does any one know if it was us customs or canada ...
some times to germandy or england it not bad
some times there to here is ...

but i have had things come from hongknong and astralia and was PDQ!

Joe has gone the extra mile for me more than once. Some things never change I guess.

Joe is legend in my own mind. He'd be an asset to any company that needed someone in a client facing role.
I am certain that the Buck family knows it...but I hope that they truly realize what a gem they have and treat him well for the way he treats us. He truly is a positive force for Buck.

Yeah Razor...pic please and congrats :)

...Just ain't none better than Joe...

Joe fits right in at Buck. When I was there this weekend my buddy brought his Tarani police Knife , I forget the model, but it had a messed up tip that his dad tried and failed to fix. Walked up to the window, and when they realized they couldn't fix it they replaced the blade while we were shopping. IT WAS FREE!!! congrats to everyone there Joe.

I have 2 110 folders getting some custom work on those babies, can't wait until hunting season.lol

ABSOLUTELY...... Joe goes far and above what anyone could expect.
It is nice dealing with someone that really does want to make the customer happy. Thank you Joe

I can sure see a few more Bucks in my and my families futures, great people when I got to visit the plant. Pete and Richard did right by me as well getting my 110 done in time for me to pick it up. I plan on a return trip to Post Falls and stopping at the factory store. Great story about a great family with really good people working there. Glad things worked out for you RAZORBLADES.

I have been putting this 880 buck/strider thru he!!,and it is indeed indestuctable folks,I have done things with this that nobody should be doing with any knife, let alone a folder, and each time i am done with it,I stare at it in amazement...truely a tactical heavy duty knife if ever there was one.
