I noticed that Joe's last post was 10-29-13. Is he still with Buck? I sent him an email two days ago, but haven't heard from him.

I'm sure he gets a lot of emails and also travel to some extent to shows and what not. I'm sure he will get to you soon. Bein Chucks son in law and a rabid knife guy, I doubt hes going anywhere anytime soon.

Yes Joe is still with Buck. I have spoke to him by email on the 16th. He is a very busy person and sometimes it takes him awhile to respond to emails and he does go out of town on occasion.

Call Buck if you have any questions.

We have been emailing and he's been hunting. He sent me this photo of his recent trip. I'll try to post it. See if it worked. DM

Thanks for the updates. I see that Joe is still a forum moderator, but I was surprised to discover he hasn't posted anything in almost a year. Glad he's okay!

He has been training hard and doing some competition racing. On top of that this is a very busy time at the Buck factory. Good things comes to those who wait.

Joe, on duty at OKCA during 2013 and 2014:

I exchanged emails with him on the 17th.

I hope to visit with him this April at OKCA where he usually works several Buck tables. It is a real luxury and pleasure to have such a captive audience for Q&A, swapping and chat. Hang around his tables and people will bring him knives you've never seen the likes of yet Joe easily spins detailed information of when made, why made, value, rarity, place in the product line and such.

I was lucky enough to see him work while at the BCCI 25th in Post Falls, Idaho. The busiest man there bar none and making it look easy.

Larry, thank you kindly for the update on Joe. Along with you, Joe should have his own video show. You are both jewels in the crown of Buck.
