This is a Joe Silva that is 25 years old.He quit making in I think in 81 or 82.It is a lockback on the large blade and a slipjoint on the small. It is one of my favorites.
I have known Joe for 38 years and he is the most rounded and talented man that I know personally.Used to restore old Dodges circa 20s.Gunsmith,woodcarver(now it is Indian Dolls and are they beautiful)Shutzen rifles(restores and shoots them) now makes a few fixed blades.
Anyway enjoy

That's a great looking knife. It has a unique style about it.How common is it to have a lockback mixed with a slipjoint? Thanks

You really do have a bunch of wonderful knives. This one is outstanding. The grinds and polish on the blades are excellent and the handle looks great.

Randy,

OooohhhH, stag gunstock pattern. That knife is a chin dropper, and Walt D. would love to see this piece. Please show and tell at the next B.A.K.C.A. club meeting.
