Allow me to develop some quick background...

For those of you who don't know New Jersey, it is LOADED with 24 hour diners...in fact, most movies use New Jersey Diners because so many of them are legendary, old, and in many cases blasts from the past.

I frequent one such NJ Diner...the Empress. Most nights, you can find me there around 3:00AM, discussing SOMETHNG Tomahwak related with Craig, the diner owner John, or the local police that come in for coffee.

I had the privelege of meeting a young man there...Joe Tate. Joe's Harley was always parked out front, no matter the weather. He'd come in every night for a burger and a beer and to talk to his brother-in-law, the diner owner mentioned above. I got to know Joe pretty quickly and liked him.

John approached me one night and asked if he could get Joe a personalized RR Spike...with an inscription in the handle..."Tate Justice". Apparently, Joe decimated a picnic table one day with a simple camp hatchet, as it was preventing him from getting some kind of job done on a work site...John was so struck by the display of free spirited anger, with no regard for lookers-on, that he branded Joe's clear brand of getting the job done, "Tate Justice".

I personally delivered the Tomahawk about a week later to John at the Diner.

Just a few days after John gave it to Joe, Joe was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident with a van...while riding a friend's bike. He was paralyzed with the exception of his right arm below the elbow and his neck.

Joe's medical bills mounted quickly. His rehabilitation is still underway, but his current condition is permanent short of something miraculous.

I attended Joe's benefit this Saturday...it was an inspiring event...SO MANY people came out in support.

Here's a pic of Joe and me...

ImageStation now requires everyone to register in order to view images on their servers, but it's fast, easy, and free.

American Tomahawk vowed to help Joe raise money...and we will. AmericanTomahawk.com will soon be updated with a page dedicated to the collection of monies for Joe's benefit fund.

I hope you'll join us in helping Joe Tate with your support. ATC is committed to seeing that "Tate Justice" is served to his creditors, his family, and most of all, himself.

Thanks.
