Joe Walters or http://moonlitforge.com/about.html had this small custom knife that he made up for sale with a 'buy now' option which someone else had bid on but did not use the 'buy now' for $50.00 so I had to snatch it up from them....its a beauty! small, clean lines, cool hamon. Taken from the auction:
This blade is handforged from 1084 High Carbon steel given a state of the art heat treat and water-quenched to produce an attractive hamon.
This is a unique small-knife featuring blued textured flats and a crudely cut cherry blossom on each side. It is a very simple rustic looking personal knife meant to be used, and features a very sharp edge and fine point. This blade would make a great letter opener or desk knife.
and specs:Thickness-3/16" to 1/8"
Edge Length-1.5"
Overall length-4.5"
Blade Steel-1084

Thanks Joe!

Hey Sweet! I know I posted on the SFI thread, but I have to post here too. That knife is beautiful. You must tell us how it cuts! I like the cherry blossoms. They are "rustic", but beautiful because of the simplicity involved. Way to go!

Hey Crayola, the only thing I have cut so far with this little blade was some tape so I could open up my package for my new car amp and my mail that all came. I dont wana mess up the finish on this little baby...its too fine of a blade that I really enjoy looking at.
