[/IMG]Here's another of Joel's Hiker models. She is covered in Green Canvas Micarta scales, Red liners, and CPM154 steel.

I was interested in something just a bit different, so I talked with Joel to see if he was willing to change the blade style. In this case, he was interested. I am now the proud owner of the first Hiker model with a Zulu Spear style blade.

I'm very impressed with the fit and finish of this knife. When you consider the price, it has to be one of the best value knives available. Joel was great to work with throughout the entire process.

Communication was outstanding. I'm hopeful that Santa will deliver another of his excellent knives. My iPhone pics do not do this knife justice.

For some reason it won't let me post pics from my phone or ipad. Might be operator error, but I've never had problems posting pics to other forums from my phone.

These are really awesome knives. I've had him make two for me in the last month or so. I have a hiker model with a 4" blade and it has his wicked drop point blade with recurve, sunburst/wheat looking micarta scales and red liners. I also had him make me a hiker with a 4" tanto blade, carbon fibre scales and red liners. The knives are just wonderful and Joel is top-notch in his craftsmanship, communication, shipping, etc.. He is also very polite and humble.
A very nice person to deal with.

So, can I post pictures from my Facebook acct to bladeforums? I would like to show my two chamblin knives but I'm not great on posting pics.

As my mother used to say, "You may if you can".
I don't actually think it is possible to link to a photo in Facebook so that it shows. And we would prefer that you did not merely link to the Facebook page.

The easiest way to post pictures as a registered user is to upload them to a web hosting service. (I use Photobucket for that sort of thing.) Then copy the web address of the picture and paste it into your post, wrapped in IMG code like this:

(Photobucket actually gives you the IMG code. So for them all you do is copy and paste.)
