Sharing a few pics of this beautiful trapper, made by one of the best in the business, Joel Chamblin. Joel did a fantastic build on this one, expertly done drawn swedge, nicely fitted mammoth and thick, sweet action to it. I wish the nail nick sat a little higher, but nothing that bothers me in the end. 3 7/8 closed with 410ss frame with soldered 416ss bolsters. Thanks for looking, comments welcome. Have a great time at Blade Joel!

Nice one Kris, Joel is one of the best makers around..and a very fine person to boot. I always make a point of going by his table at Blade.

Nice knife Kris. A couple of nitpicks though. One, the covers should be stag. And two, the blade should have been made from damascus.

;)

That's a beautiful knife!! Joel does make a wonderful knife. I can say that you have outstanding taste in knives and I always enjoy seeing what you post.

I wish they had a like button that meant "really really like ..a lot"

I didn't see Joel at his table today. Johnny Stout had some real stunners still sitting on his table this afternoon. He has really upped his game.
