Pull your pants up dude.

Thinking of all our friends on the Mississippi river, let us know how you are doing.

John's fine. Talked to him yesterday. He's on a barge on the Mississippi River in southern Louisiana. His home and my own are outside of the Mississippi River Delta where the flood waters are.

I was in the Delta today. Many roads closed. Houses and fields surounded by earthen dams. Others loading everything into U'Haul vans. Lots of deer running along the roads. Lots of dead wildlife. Water everywhere. Most of the guys I know in Vicksburg live on high ground.

Good to hear y'all are OK, Terry.

I was fishing in the Mississippi flood plain (in the rain), last week. Reelfoot Lake, north of Memphis. Never have I seen so much water. Probably worse now.

Terry good to hear that you and John are OK but from what I have seen on TV it looks like the clean up will be going on for a lone time

Yep, it's good to hear. When you're in contact with so many people there's always someone to worry about.

Thanks for your concern Mark and the rest of ya'll!Like Terry said, We're loading a tow to go north, and right now I am about 40 miles south of Baton Rouge, should be northbound tomorrow morning. The water is at levels I have never seen in my 23 plus years out here:eek:but hopefully it will crest soon and start to fall.See ya'll in about a month at Blade:D!!
