John asked me to post images of these two bowies.

The description from John. The scrim on the ivory knife is by Linda Karst Stone and the specs are as follows.
Blade 7 1/2" of random damascus, 12 1/2" OAL.Walrus ivory handle, scrim by Linda and the rest by me.

The description of this knife again from John.

The next piece is 8 3/4" forged 1095 with forge texture and antique finish, elk stag handle and 14" OAL, with of course a rawhide sheath made by me.

Both of these knives and sheaths are exceptional pieces. I'm sure the new owners will be very pleased

Great looking pieces by John with nice images Chuck. His style is always distinctive and offers a great collectors option to other pieces one might own. I certainly enjoy the set I have displayed at home.

Really like that big camp knife. Everything works visually for me, and the overall effect is very satisfying--beautiful. Perfect image.

Very nice. I really like the lines on the first one.......simple but flows nice.

Thanks guys and thanks for the post and the fantastic images Chuck!!The I am Crow scrim on the ivory knife is the second time Linda has done this for me, the first is on a large bowie that I will be finishing soon.Normally the main image would be on the mark side but the client wanted it on the obverse side so it would on display when the knife was in the sheath.
The camp knife was commissioned by a guy in Colorado as a gift for his martial arts instructor, hence the title Sensei's Camp Knife.

Johnny as usual you keep showing your talent. Keep m coming and its nice to see some thing different. I really like the handle on the second one. KT

Man that is about as warm as you can get with a knife. Nice work John, they really have that old world look.

the richness of John's work would be evident from any view, but it's incredibly well represented in your photos, Chuck.
These pieces are amazing. I think I'll look at these fine images for awhile, there's so much to take in.

Outstanding knives, sheaths and images.
John, your knives always have such rich color and detail, a feast for the eye.

Thanks Roger. My style and Linda's style mesh so well together that I think her scrim on my knives, well, it just works!!
