John asked me to post this knife and sheath I shot over the weekend. 9 1/2" blade, 15" OAL. 1095 with elk antler. Wrought iron/copper fittings. I think the new owner is going to be very happy. Nice job John.

John's work is so nicely photogenic. Not easy either, as he gives you a LOT of visuals to fit into a contained amount of real estate.

John's work + Chuck's visuals = Smiling viewer. :)

Thanks guys and thanks for the post Mr. Chuck. This one has a 9 1/2" blade of forged 1095 with forge texture and an antique finish, 15,1/2" OAL. Handle is elk stag with a fold formed copper ferrule with rawhide wraps and fittings forged from wrought iron wagon parts and heat colored. The finial nut is made from a section or wrought iron bolt that was ticking out of one of the parts and I left the rusted thread texture for extra detail.
abcdef, no coffee table book but I am going to be honored with a one page spread in Dr. David Darom's next book, the World of Art Knives Volume IV, due out soon!!

John, another top shelf knife and sheath done in typical John Cohea fashion! Very nice image too!

BTW I got the Charles L. Brain Book, excellent stuff, thanks
