You might want to go through the Emerson Custom Gallery and click on each individual post, then [copy] Cut & Paste each one to save yourself alot of typing in the near future.

And this goes for any thread that anyone thinks is valuable.

Bladeforums is moving to new software and the migration might leave all of this information Lost in Space.

You can paste each post you wish to protect into MS Word or whatever Word Processor you use, Works, etc., then if all is lost, you can simply start new threads.

Heads up.

Also be sure to go to General Forum. find Spark's thread about whether to save all this data or not, and VOTE TO SAVE IT!!!!
http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum41/HTML/001395.html

I can't believe Spark even had to ASK whether to save it or dump all this info down the cyber tube.
He must have a monster project in front of him, so VOTE VOTE VOTE and let him know how important it is to us to keep all this.
If not, EVERYTHING will be deleted forever.
There's just too much history here for me to even think about that.
Damn, it would be like burning the Library of Alexandria.

The whole Forum "Common Sense Self-Defense" is history and repeated attempts to either Archive the vast amount of material contained in it or to move the "good" threads have always fallen on deaf ears.

So, if you have a "favorite" thread, save it, I don't know what the hell is going to happen.

I have The Emerson Gallery intact with all of the Color and Font Codes, Pic Live Links, Pic Links, all of it in case no one else had it online...backed-up.

I never thought I'd say this, but I need a bigger Hard Drive!
20 Gig is NOT ENOUGH!
I've been going back and trying to find threads that I don't want to lose, but DAMN! There's just not enough time or space to save everything "good."

Y'all may not believe this. But I archive just about everything that Don Rearic writes. In my book, he's second only to Jeff Cooper.

Seriously.

Yes, these threads are invaluable and a good data wrangler can preserve them.

Don, thanks for the warning. I already have several backups of all that info. Problem is two of them were out of date since I just did a complete change of all the links over the last month.

Howeve, there are a few informational threads that I don't have yet and need to grab.

You da man.
