John... every do a Hardening/Hamon line on your knives?

Hey John... w/the receipt of my two new knives f/ you... I was wondering if you ever put a Hardening Line/Hamon on any of your blades?

I don't know how much additional time this would add or costs... but I'm curious if you've ever done it and if so... any pics? :D
 

That's a good read... but I'm still curious if John has ever done any tempering that is visible on his blades?

I know several makers here that use O1 and get a nice temper line (almost a trade-mark look) on their blades made of O1.

Again... this is not to critic or criticize the knives John makes... just curious. Perhaps the blades I recently received f/you in O1 have a temper line, but not visible?? Do you thru-harden or selectively harden your blades John?
 
On my heavy duty knives, (like your Lobo), if you look closely you will see a very slight line.
