John Fillinger Pocket Knife

Hello All!, I have a Fillinger pocket knife that I've had for several years , I got it out of my safe and opened the blade and the spring broke , Does anyone know if Mr. FILLINGER is still active and can repair my knife? It's dated 1989.

In that thread there is a member (arizona45631) who says that he is John Fillinger (posts #18 and #21). He last visited the forum on November 27, 2022, so there could be a chance to find him. He said at the time of that thread (2011) that he was only 57 years old. So he's about 69-70 now. Hopefully you can find him and he's still able to fix your knife.

At your membership level you need to use a photo hosting site like Imgur.com. You create an account on the hosting site, upload your pictures into your account, then when you click on your picture you will see several codes that Imgur assigns to that picture, then you insert the BBCode into your post. I just write the code on a piece of paper and type it into my post here on the forum.

The other way to post pictures is to purchase a membership. That will allow you to post pictures directly from your computer by clicking the "Insert Image" icon in the top of the post box (the "Insert Image" icon is the little picture between the chain links and the smiley face).

It sounds like you need to resize the picture (make it smaller). When you click on a picture stored in your computer there should be an icon that gives you the option to resize.

That's the best info I can give, I am far from an expert on computer stuff. Perhaps more knowledgeable people will provide some advice.
