John Fitch camp knife

The last few knives I have gotten from John have been big, honkin knives. This one is a good carry size camp knife.

Blade is straight back style with about an 8.5" blade of forged 1084, ground a little thinner than John normally grinds em. Distal taper to almost nothing at the tip. Nickel silver single guard and stabilized walnut handle. This knife doesnt weigh much at all. Balance point is just in front of the guard.

Nice knife again buddy! You know I'm a big fan of Big John's work and that knife looks like it's ready for any job. I like the crow's beak shape of the walnut handle as well. Very nice.
