Well I contacted custom knife maker John Fitzen, if I know of him then I'm sure everyone here does too. I wanted to get a customized Tank but he's a realy cool guy and talked me into a Frankenstein for $420 instead.

The first time I called him he tried to talk me into a Predator, then I shot this video, then I called him again and he talked me out of the Tank and into the Frank.

Congrats on moving up to a better piece of equipment!
BTW, congrats on actualy getting ahold of Mr. Fitzen; I sent off a couple of e-mails, and nothing. Guess I have to call Utah...
 
i have met John in person, great guy and fixed up the edge on a knife of mine. and i think calling him is the best way to contact. i personally like the look of the frankenstein.

First I PM'd him on youtube and he replied with his phone number. so yeah pretty much just gotta call.
 
I brought a Frankenstein early last year from a dealer who had it in his inventory for about 5yrs once I got the knife I was in love with it and wanted more info about Fitzen&his work that same month I came across a Fitzen Tank(Knife)on youtube I had to have one I called John and he said he had one left and it was not finish and he was keeping it for himself and would not be makeing anymore well after several phone calls I was able to change his mind and I brought it.The Frankenstein I have is the original design it has all the same features as the New one just not as big&I think my is made out of ats-34 steel and just like my Tank he cut them out useing a bandsaw I think now he uses watercut?I love both Knives and the Tank is a life keeper.John is a Standup guy&One of Coolest Cats!
 
Your vid is to hard to watch man. Just really loud when hit the laptop. Good luck though. keepem sharp
