Anyone have any good first hand experience with them? Using search hasn't really turned up much, except sale stuff and what not. How is the edge holding and has anyone used them hard? I've got no experience with 8670/L6 steel. I know its tough stuff and that's about it.

the ones ive used have been great for the medium/light use they get.i think greco is a undiscovered deal that is undervalued.

John Greco makes great knives. His fixed blades are real hard users and his folders are some of the strongest out there. John just hasn't gotten the attention and fame that other makers have.

He got sick about 10 years ago and had to retire, but then got better and is restarting his business, so many just don't know about him.

I have a couple of Greco knives. One is a big fighter in A2 that I've never used, but the other is a small dropped point in 52100 with a dangler sheath. It's a cutting machine! Edge holding is outstanding as well. This is the knife that convinced me what a good steel 52100 is.

I have a couple of Grecos fixed blades and they are a great deal for the price. Very undervalued. Greco has good designs and excellent workmanship.
