John has been busy in the shop and just sent me pictures of three stunning blades. He'll have these at the upcoming Arkansas show, and I'll post a few pics in that thread, but wanted to post up the details here.

First up, a Hunting Sword. I first saw one of John's hunting swords in Atlanta five years ago, a knife I'll never forget. This one is just as beautiful, 32 inches, with Fossilized Walrus.

A huge Bowie, 21 inches long, with Fossilized Walrus. Amazing details.

John's detailed execution on all of these pieces is outstanding, with unique design features on all three. Superb quality work and impeccable attention to detail. These knives "cry out" to be held. Either one or all three would be a wonderful addition to anyone's collection.

Stunning pieces, Eli. Love John's work, and these are gorgeous examples. Thanks for posting them.

Those are some really nice looking pieces. Hunting swords are favorites of mine, small enough to be practical to carry yet still fairly large.

Does that sheath for the sword have a wood core?
