WOW!!! John, your creativity and craftsmanship are totally off the chain man! Very, VERY NICE!!! Caleb, beautiful work as I've come to expect from everything you do...I've never had the chance to see John's work in so much detail. Beautiful work from you both!!

Thanks guys and thank you Caleb for such wonderful pics, truly outstanding by any measure!!If you haven't picked up on it through Caleb's detail shots, the guard is made to look like a bent over arrowhead with the edges having a flint knapped look, and the end of the guard is a carved feather. The copper ferrule is actually a ferrule, made from fold formed copper sheet and the seams hard soldered together. The sheath features a fold formed copper arrowhead dangle with Sterling silver lashing wraps.

Thanks everyone! This knife was a lot of fun to make, especially the guard, and Caleb did a exceptional job of making sure that you get to see all of the details this piece has to offer!

I have always liked Johns work, he's a pretty creative guy. He's a nice guy too. These pictures superbly display the artistry in what John does. Great work John and Caleb

Thanks guys.Elefantener, it is an antique finish that I use that is done with a combination of ferric chloride and bleach, as you can see it is much more than just a surface patina, it actually adds texture to the blade as well as patina.

You know I love that handle!!! What fabulous detail in design and finish! Fantastic.

Thanks, Caleb, for the opportunity to enjoy this knife through your lens. The super, duper zoom sized images gave me a chance to really take in the particulars.
