John Munch info?

In the FEB '02 edition of Knives Illustrated there is a cool auto on page 2. The caption says that it was made by a John Munch. Anyone have any info on this maker? I checked the normal areas with no luck. I really like the design of the knife and though about getting one made. Any help would be great.

I can find absolutely no information about this maker. You may want to contact Krause Publications directly and ask them if they have info on this maker. Their phone number is 715 445 2214. It would probably be best to phone them as it seems their email addy is for all their publications and it might take them awhile to get back to you. You could try books@krause.com .
 
Are you lucky! Met John at a Gem and Mineral show about 2 months ago. John makes very few knives and lives in the Kenosha-Racine, Wisconsin area. telephone book indicates Racine area, # 262-634-0129. Let me know if this works.-Dick
