John Ownby Bowie /My Latest Toy

[Big Tex]

This is my latest custom knife from John Ownby, jownby@airmail.net, Plano,Tx. John is a part-time maker and I own several of his knives. The 5.5" blade is a Thunderforge Damascus twist pattern (mix of 01, 1095, & nickel), the guard is oval antiqued brass and the handle is jigged bone. He is one of my "bang for the $" makers.
