John Ownby Bowie

This is my latest from John (Knife141), Plano, Tx. I felt that I needed a big bowie. It's a nice one.

- 440C steel
- antiqued brass sideplates/spine/guard
- 13.5 inch overall length
- Koa scales
- leather swivel sheath

Very nice work. I want to get one or two of his knives, they are very reasonably priced and the quality looks exceptional. As soon as I get a few extra bucks, i want to get his Medium Fighter.

Dirk, you have a good eye. I have about 12 of John's knives and they are quality at good prices. I have even thought about getting that "Fighter" for myself but I'm more into hunters/bowies.

What a wonderful looking bowie. The overall lines are great and the handle looks real comfortable. I like the file work too, very nice.

Gorgeous bowie!!! I really like the side plates on the blade. Don't see that too often.
