Lovely little blade I received recently, the small hunter by John Perry. ;)

The blade is awesome CPM-3V steel, it's 3 3/4 from tip to single guard, the stock thickness is approximately 1/8 inch. The superbly crafted handle is walnut, and it is one solid piece, the tang is mortised into place

The sheath is Kenny Rowe pouch style.

I was the original owner of that knife. Bought it from John at the Tulsa gun/knife show a year or so ago. I actually bought two of them at the time, and still have one. John is making me a slightly bigger version of that knife, in more of a Semi-skinner/ Green River shape with African Blackwood handle, otherwise I'd probably still own that one. Congrats on a great snag; you'll love it! :)

Wow, a very good get, very clean execution. Nice photos too. I need to check out some of his other work... Jason.

Gez that's nice. I wonder how deep the tang extends into the handle? How does it balance?
