An older gentleman at church knows I like old knives and he gave me 3 knives at church Sunday, this John Primble was one of them, he is in his 80’s and said it was his fathers EDC, he believed it to be over 100 years old, I’m having trouble finding one like it with the same bone handle’s, the grooved bolsters and without a badge, the tang stamp is faded bad but you can see it is stamped 5512 on the opposite side, I thought I would bring it to the experts here and get your opinion, thanks for any help.

I have a few Belknap Primble catalogs.
The #5512 is in the 1930, 1935, and 1950 catalogs shown in jig bone and with the grooved bolsters, although it shows a curved bar shield on it. I'm not sure if that info is very helpful or not.

Enough of the tang stamp to prove it was made between 1940-68 and the star indicates Boker made it for Belknap Hardware before 1965.
It is not a hundred years old, but, the story of being the man's father's EDC could easily fit, especially if he toted it in his elderly years.
The fancy bolsters usually indicate older rather than newer.
If it was actually made in 1940, then it might be as old as 84 years old. 😊
