I seem to recall seeing a show where John Ratzenburger and his show "Made in America" were at the Buck knives facility looking at how Buck has been making knives.

Does anyone know where I can get this show and do you remember seeing it?

Does buck make their knives by hand still? I seem to remember seeing that is how the 110's are made.

That makes me proud.

There was a deal on the discovery channel where they follow through the making of a 110, was that it?

Maybe that was it. I wish I could find it as I would love to watch it again. :)

I've been to the Made In America site and they have no record of doing a "Buck Knife" show.

I'm not sure the one I am thinking of was John Ratzenburgers show, or if it was a discovery channel thing. They air it every so often, but never advertise it ahead of time, you have to watch their website like a hawk to catch it.

I very recently watched a show on the history channel that talked about the hunting industry and spent about 15 minutes going over knives and the Buck company and how they make knives. Most of the process looked pretty much automated with finish work done by hand.

"Made in America" with Ratzenberger did do a piece in the Buck factory. They followed the assembly of the 110 and gave some history behind it. I think they show it on the Travel Channel (on DirecTV at least).

OK, I'll almost bet that's the one I am thinking of then, Travel Channel, History Channel, FitTV and a few others are all affiliated with The Discovery Channel somehow.

I'm not sure which one is the actual parent channel though?????
