Hi folks,

I've bought a couple of Barry Dawson's knives over the years. Three years ago I met his son-in-law and mentee, John Roy of Prescott, AZ, and bought a little hunting knife from him. Liked it a lot.

Ran into him at the show on Saturday, running a table with his knives and Barry's (Barry was under the weather and didn't make the show). John started driving at 2 a.m. to make it to the Albuquerque show on time. I was really drawn to a couple of little neck knives that John had there (he just made them this week!) and he made me a heck of a deal on one. :)

I really like this little thing. I used it to cut up all the veggies and meat for the big breakfast fry-up/scramble I made this morning, and it just really feels great in my hand.

I had no business buying another knife, but I think this one is probably going to get quite a bit of use. :)

Thank you. :) I'm surprised that the cachet hasn't worn off - I'm really finding this to be very handy. I wouldn't necessarily have thought that on first glance. Twenty years ago I never would have even given it a second glance, what with the handle/blade ratio, but this seems to really suit me. :)
