Travolta's 16 year old son passed today, reportedly from complications from Kawasaki's disease. I can not even imagine the grief he must be experiencing now. I like Travolta a lot and I am sorry for his loss. I always thought he was a good guy and kind of a regular guy despite his well-known association with the Church of Scientology. He has given me and my family around 3 decades of entertainment and my heart goes out to him now in his time of loss and grief.

Yeah, no kidding. That is horrible. Just heard about that a few minutes ago. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

I read that earlier. Absolutely tragic. I can not imagine a worse thing for parents than to bury a child.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Travolta family. Smoke & prayers from the east bay.

Well said.

I don't think I have ever heard people that have worked with him say anything but positive things.

A rarity in show business.

To lose your child is a true nightmare scenario. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Smoke and prayers going up for him and his family from Virginia.

How awful!! I can not even begin to imagine how bad he and his family feel. Prayers go out to him & his family.

I couldn't believe it when I read it last night. My niece had that same diagnosis at 5 years of age. She had some cardiac complications and had sustained some permanant damage to her heart as a result but seems to be minor thus far. Seeing her in the hospital was a nightmare but she was eventually able to leave on her own two feet. I can't imagine what he and his wife are going through. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Yes, a tragedy.
We can only pray that he continues to do good, his purpose in life... by giving others hope and happiness even if only for a moment, through his God given talents of acting.
My prayer goes out to him and all who have lost family and friends over this bleak holiday season.

Yes, terrible tragedy. My heart goes out for him and his family. I could not imagine what he, Kelly and their daughter is going through. It must be truly devastating.

Prayers and condolences sent from here...
