I bought this a while ago and promised pictures. Better late than never, I hope.

I bought it from Dave Ellis of www.exquisiteknives.com/

The first time I met Dave he brought some of his collection to his office for me to see. I fell in love with this JWS and bought it soon after.

Feels great in the hand. Super smooth to open. The Blue/Black carbon fiber looks great. This is in my EDC rotation.

I am a little tired to give a full review, but I will answer any questions about its performance and fit and finish. Actually, let me just say now that the fit and finish is amazing. To be expected from JWS.





 
I have the same knife with a 4" blade thats part of my EDC rotation. I love it. JW is the man. Great choice and enjoy it.
 
I think if someone were to make a list of the top 5 folder makers John W. Smith has got to be there.
 
Yes, he makes some of the most perfect folders around, I have one of his newer linerlocks. Do you know if he takes orders? I have tried to contact him without any success.
 
So far they have only gathered a tad of muck and I have found them pretty easy to clean since they are not very deep. I sort of wad up a bit of the end of my shirt and it fits in there fine.

I have found that the holes add to the grip, or at least feel pretty good even if they don't actually add retention.
