John Young knife

I just got this knife from Plazacutlery.com ( great service) and I am extremely impressed! I had not heard of John Young until I saw him at this years Guild show and all of his knives were sold out except one that I was not really interested in. I saw this one on the web and decided to get it and I am very impressed, the fit and finish are perfect and the stag scales are just beautiful. There are absolutely zero gaps between the liners.

That is a fine looking kniife. A friend of mine called after the Guild Show and all he said was "go get a John Young knife". He told me he had not seen such class work in a long time.

Mr. Young gave me the go ahead to post his info. He is pleased that there is interest in his work, has recently gone full time, and is getting slightly back logged. The quality is there, I have two pieces on order for my collection, and think that he has the ability to be the next Johnson or Loveless.
