Johnny Stout?

I've been looking at lots of custom folders on the web, and this forum is really helpful. My wife's not too thrilled but I gotta be in trouble for something. There are lots of really beautiful knives out there. Believe me, I spent a lot of online time at the sites of the makers who post in this forum. Johnny Stout's knives really caught my eye today but I haven't seen anything about him here. Has anyone out there used his knives and what do you think?

You have very good taste Daniel. Johns knives are beautiful. You can't go wrong with your decision to buy his work.

I don't personally own one of his folders but they are on my will own someday soon list. I have looked at them in person at shows and they are awesome.

Thanks for the replies. A month ago I was just looking for a new folding pocket knife ... then for a simple custom ... then a really fabulous custom ... now I want some fixed blades too

That must be how addictions start!

Johnny Stout converted a Mad Dog fixed blade into a folder for me awhile back. He is good.
