ok guys i scored one of these. pretty rusty but easily cleaned up to new.
it has the pyrometer with it. and it has the blower all set-up with it too. just need to figure out how it works, and what it runs off of. any way to tell whether or not its propane or natural gas?? thanks guys
Is this a good find? seems pretty nice to me. just needs a new door and maybe some ITC 100 on the inside.

also there was an old ideal commutator dresser with it the guy thought was part of the furnace......
.... hat the heII is a commutator dresser anyway? thanks guys

Keep that commutator-dresser, Mike. Its a good thing if you ever get into rebuilding electric motors.

Michael, I have a Johnson Gas atomospheric heat treat furnace. My is set up for propane. Contact Beryle Brown at bbrown@johnsongas.com phone 800-553-5422.
He is a sales rep and will answer any questions you have. Ask for an owners manuel. It would help to send him pics of your unit so he can determine which one you have unless you already know.
