here y'all go let me know what you think. i played around with it first after stripping it, did some vinegar and hot sauce patinas before going with the gun blue/bleach method. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. got the micarta grips from tomars, really happy with the quality of these

I love it, I have done the gun blue n bleach trick before but it didn't look like that. Would you mind telling me how you did it, step by step. Thanks.

i used Clichs thread, but its real simple. after you strip the blade clean it up well with soap and water. apply blue evenly all over the blade and place in a jar of bleach. i let it sit for 30 minutes, removed, cleaned with soap and water then wet sanded with 400 grit because initially you will have a dark corroded blade. the sandpaper brings out the patina and gets the corrosion off. i re blued it and dipped it in the bleach a second time for 30 minutes, then cleaned up same way as before. pretty basic and gives it a real hammered finish look. a perfect look for a working mans blade that is the bk2

I like that, Shooter. My Bk-2 is going to get the same treatment in a week or two, I think.

Wo0t!!!!
