Hey guys, long time Spyderco/Benchmade guy here. I guess I am joining the club. Today I ordered my first CRK knife its a large Sebenza 21 with Gabon Ebony inlays. It looks beautiful in the photos, cant wait to see it in person. I had to find out what all the hype was about. I hope its everything people say it is. They way people talk bout them I am expecting it be magic and able to perform miracles. I'm sure it will kick every other knife out of my pocket and everything else will seem like junk in comparison. Cant wait to get it.

Congrats! I remember back in the day when I was a BM collector. Seems so long ago now. Since my first CRK a large carbon fiber Sebenza I have not bought another BM since. Welcome to the greatest community in knife collecting and using! Q

Hey brother--welcome to the CRK family. I am sure there is some hyperbole in the above quote, but a word of caution--there are those who are left feeling underwhelmed and underimpressed because of such expectations. First and foremost, it is a knife that cuts things. Give yourself some time to carry it, use it, and admire it. Over time, you will find things you enjoy about the knife that you were unaware of "out of the box."

Well said. My appreciation of CRKs continues to grow the more I carry mine. At the end of the day, they're just knives. Very well-made knives. ;)

Congrats, OP! Hope you enjoy your CRK and be sure to post photos when it arrives! :)

I agree totally with these sentiments. There may be some initial "let-down" when you get your first CRK. They are "Growers", not "Showers" and the best things about them take time to learn to appreciate. You need to commit some time with these blades to get the return on your investment. I can guarantee the satisfaction will be there, but don't expect to be mind blown right out of the gates.

yeah, I know. I was kind of kidding and having a little fun with that statement. I have flirted with the idea of a CRK for a while now, have watched some Youtube videos and knife reviews and pretty sure I know what to expect. I don't think there is any chance I am going to regret my purchase : )

Congrats on your buy! I was a member of the CRK Club for about 2 weeks and then my wife stole my small Sebenza UG for HER collection. Now she is a member and I'm not. Lol!

But I have one coming and working on a second, so I'll be back in the Club soon. ;)

Enjoy yours!

Wise man. Get your wife involved early it took me two years to figure that out!

LOL that's good advise, I guess I'm kind of on the other side of that. To my wife they all look the same so as far as she knows I only have one. ;)

I guess if I ever get one with inlays I will have to tell her I have two. :D
