Hey to all on bf.
I recently traded with a member on here for a hogb8.great trade thanks again chris i loved the hogb8 from the second i had it in my lil trotter .
And after some use and a bit of contemplation i decided i needed to strip it i couldnt get citristrip as advised and because the weather has been crap couldnt use paint stripper so i chose a different avenue .
I used acetone based nail polish nail remover as it can be used indoors which suited me .i decided i wanted the ricasso and choil to remain coated as the tang just as a rust preventer the business end is stripped still needs a few touches near the ricasso in the sweeps from blade to ricasso otherwise im pretty happy with it .
And you were right chris it is a lovely stripper flawless underneath the coating .
Hope ye enjoy pics the tools i used were clay knives plastic and a sanding pad and 600 grit sandpaper
