Got this today. It is a Joker Ember. It should be a nice bushcraft knife. Razor sharp. Seems like a lot of knife for 80 bucks.

Sandvik 14C28N is the steel. I have a few knives that use it. I like the edge you can get on them, with very moderate effort. This one is a 4.13 inch blade. The blade is quite thick. 3.7mm. While the walnut scales are not bookmatched, they are nice and are fitted very well. Nice sheath. Came with a removable dangler. Lanyard included as was a 6 foot piece of 550 paracord. I like the heft of this knife. Camp knives should be heavy chunks of steel, IMO. This knife is scary sharp. I know that's an overused term. But this thing makes paper shed a tear at the sight of it. I could easily shave with it. Scandi grind. Some folks like. Some don't. I like it. I have slicer knives I use for food prep. This will be a camp workhorse. One that I won't be afraid to use since its inexpensive. Made in Spain.

Okay... I might be getting in more trouble.
It sounds like a real winner!
They have scale options, and you can get them with or without a fire steel. Prices go from 80-110. I went with the cheapest one. I got it from that Big River site. I figured it I didn't like it, they have easy returns. But I'll be keeping it.

It's a nice knife. They also make it in a flat grind for people who want it done that way. I've got both versions of the Ember and I have no regrets.

They're a pretty dangerous brand to start ordering. You get charged the same shipping fee if you order 1 or 3 and they're not that expensive for what they are, so you end up ordering them 2 or 3 at a time. That's how I ended up with 13 of them in pretty short order. There's still a couple more of them I'd like to get...
