O.K. everybody, I'll make this brief because I now this will spark interest. I have and I hope one of a kind Jonathan Crook hand made (pen knife)most commonly known as a folding knife in 2days cutlery. I have done some home work on the knife and the trail keeps getting very interesting as I research my knife. It is definitely late 17th cent. to early 18th depending on who might have the first allowable trade marking machines with both "touch mark" and name or the most and called upon "mesters" who forged and hand crafted for their Sheffield shop owner. I have been told and do believe that the knife was made for an individual
(from my own R&D) for someone of wealth and or prominence in the fields of Maritime Shipping and or Equesterine or both during the flourishing era back then. I'm tired of typing. Hopes this peeks interest because this knife is a Beaut!!!!, More importantly I want to know who sequestered this knife to be hand crafted. Thanks, GB

I was unable to perceive a question in your post. Was there one?
