Hello, My coworker recently discovered an old two-bladed half-whittler(?) among some items he inherited. The blade reads "Joseph Rogers" and has two stamps. One is a star or asterisk; the other is a cross which resembles the German Iron Cross. Blades open on opposite ends and handle is bone. It is 3 inches closed.
Can anyone tell us what we're looking at?

The Joseph Rodgers (Sheffield) trade mark has been a star and a Maltese Cross.... since the 1600s

Do show us a photo of your knife!

Cheers
Rod

Thanks Rod, and PA Knives! That's a great picture. I'll happily show you a picture, but I don't believe I have the right to post attachments.
