As long as some of us seem to have a morbid need to post the death of famous people on a knife forum, (in multiple locations) I may as well post this. Josephine Cottle died yesterday.

Josephine who? Her TV/movie name was Gale Storm. Does anyone care? Probably not. She was a nice lady who died of old age. Nothing for the tabloids there.

Thanks for making me aware of her passing.

I was unfortunate not to have seen her tv shows or heard her sing in her 'day' but this gave me a bit of insight into her long life and career.

I remember watching the Gale Storm Show. I was young enough at the time and this is that many years later that I couldn't give you a plot line for any one episode to save my life. But I do remember it was fun and silly and the humor was not mean spirited.

I'm glad she had a long and full life and got to enjoy grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I'm not familiar with her work, but she was certainly very pretty. That pic you posted... we need more of that kind of beauty in the world, as opposed to blatant, grotesque "sexuality". Just my opinion, of course.
