Josh Kane knives?

t1mpani - Though I have never heard of Josh Kane I will add this about that particular ebay seller - tavisd2006 / he is known for stealing both pictures and descriptions from many different websites (including mine) and then using that info with a greatly inflated price to sell his wares.

tavisd2006 takes oridinary knives which he pays little for and adds alot of "Tactical, Combat, Fighting, Defense, Exotic" titles to them, sells them at incredibly inflated prices and the knife unducated/mall ninjas eat it up.

I recently filed with ebay and successfully had two of tavisd2006's auctions shut down when I proved that he had stolen pics from my website.

My guess is re the auction you linked to - the picture was stolen from another website and the knife he has for sale is a similiar Asian / Pakistani style copy of the knife. The name of the Maker is ficticious and was used to further dupe the buying public.
 
Yeah, kind of what I was figuring. If you look at both pics, it's not a perfect copy, but kind of the "quick and easy" version of the older knife--fewer curves, lots of sharp, 90 degree transitions.

Oh well, if there weren't useless wastes of skin in this world, we wouldn't know to appreciate the people who aren't. :)
