Just wanted to share my newest purchase here locally. This is a sole authorship piece with the artists name forged into the damascus. He won Best Damascus from Blade Show with similar for a fixed blade. A very talented young mastersmith.

First, Welcome to Blade Forums!

No doubt Josh is incredibly talented. I don't think of him as a young mastersmith (even though he is young) because it seems as though he's been around making great knives forever.
His damascus is very innovative and beautiful as demonstrated here.

Congratulations to you Sir.

That is a nice knife. I think I saw it just after he finished it, but it could have been a similar one. Josh does great work---great score.

Congrats on a fine new folder. Josh is an extremely talented maker and a great guy as well.

Thanks for the compliments and for posting the photos. I built that knife back in '02 or '03' and sold it at the Oregon show. I'm very happy that were able to pick it up. Thanks so much....Josh

I was thinking it may be a few years old as most of Josh's recent folders have been fancier:D However, that is a fine looking knife with awesome pearl.

Congrats!

Peter
